Located adjacent to the World Heritage Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park, Waradah provides the ideal location for local and worldwide visitors to experience Live performances, which encompass the unique timeline of Australia’s history, from our First Nation People to our current multi-cultural society.

In addition to our theatre, our Retail outlet and Art Gallery contain a large collection of authentic collectable artworks and crafts.

Total Duration – 90 minutes

In a private room, International Students visiting Waradah will learn about Australia’s Indigenous history in a series of three activities.

  • Engage in an interactive talk on traditional Aboriginal culture looking at how Aboriginal people lived in a sustainable way in a natural environment for thousands of years.
  • Introduced to traditional painting techniques and symbols used in Aboriginal desert art, including a background to the Desert Painting movement.
  • Guided boomerang decorating and painting workshop, which they are able to keep as souvenirs of their visit. All material is provided.
  • 25 minute live performance in our custom built theatre.

Any time remaining will be used taking photographs, viewing artworks in the galleries and shopping in the gift outlet.
